The Role
The Sales Commissions and Operations Analyst is pivotal to ensuring accurate and timely calculation, administration, and analysis of sales commissions across the sales force while supporting GTM reporting and headcount planning. This role involves collaborating with sales, finance, and HR teams to implement effective commission structures and process enhancements.
What You’ll Do
- Commission Calculation and Reporting: Calculate sales commissions, ensure error-free payments, validate data, analyze performance trends, and prepare executive reports.
- Commission Plan Management: Maintain commission documentation, monitor plan effectiveness, recommend adjustments, and implement controls to safeguard data.
- Business Operations & Insights: Support headcount reporting, analyze operational data, and deliver insights for leadership decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with finance, HR, and Strategy & Ops teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure payroll alignment.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate has a background in finance, accounting, business administration, mathematics or related fields with experience in sales commissions or finance roles. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Salesforce proficiency, with experience in commission software (SPIFF, Xactly, CaptivatieIQ) is preferred. A growth mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and strong cross-functional communication skills are essential.
