About the role
Legal Manager - Real Estate
Adani Realty is seeking an experienced Legal Manager to provide comprehensive legal support for its real estate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and support on various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, joint ventures, and development agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of real estate contracts and legal documents.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
- Act as a liaison with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters pertaining to land, property, and tenancy issues.
- Conduct thorough legal due diligence for land and property acquisitions.
- Advise on matters related to RERA, land use, zoning regulations, and title clearance.
- Support cross-functional teams, including project management, finance, and business development.
- Monitor legal risks within real estate documentation and provide strategic advice on risk mitigation.
- Possess adequate knowledge of SRA laws and their operational mechanisms, including SRA authorities.
- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of DCPR 2034 and the redevelopment of MHADA properties.
- Fluency in Marathi is preferred for this role.
Qualifications:
- LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
- 10–15 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law, with a preference for a blend of law firm and in-house experience.
- Strong understanding of property laws, RERA, stamp duty, registration, and municipal regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
