Office Locations
Locations include Kansas (Wichita, Overland Park, Manhattan, Hutchinson, McPherson, Hays, Great Bend, Colby, Larned) and Arkansas (Little Rock, Jonesboro).
Position Summary
This role prepares tax returns, accounting work papers and financial reports, and conducts statistical and account analyses. Working on the Closely Held Business team, the Senior Tax Accountant leads, directs and applies creative judgment and experience to accomplish goals.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns and perform tax research for strategy development.
- Conduct detailed accounting and statistical functions related to tax preparation.
- Research accounting issues using reference materials.
- Maintain accurate time and expense records for billing purposes.
- Comply with professional education and practice standards.
- Recommend and implement revised accounting systems.
- Collaborate with principals, managers and staff for integrated client service and new business development.
- Enhance firm image via executive presence and professional communication.

Working Conditions & Benefits
