About the Role

The Security Gen AI Researcher at ActiveFence will enhance the security and integrity of cutting-edge AI technologies. The role involves simulated cyber attacks, vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and developing mitigation strategies for generative AI models and their operating environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sophisticated simulated attacks on generative AI models.
  • Evaluate security posture and identify vulnerabilities in AI infrastructures.
  • Perform thorough risk analysis and prioritize mitigation efforts.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop effective remediation strategies.
  • Stay updated on AI security trends and implement innovative testing methodologies.
  • Document and report findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-Have: Proven record in AI vulnerability analysis, strong grasp of AI architectures especially generative models, at least 5 years in offensive cyber security with focus on Cloud and API security, familiarity with agentic frameworks, proficiency in Python, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have: Degree in Computer Science or related field, experience in building production quality pipelines and automations, exposure to machine learning development frameworks, advanced certifications in offensive cybersecurity, and a background in DevOps/ML.
