The Opportunity
As the Senior Director, Security & Risk, you will advance our organization-wide security program, overseeing cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and physical security. You will lead a talented team to scale automation, strengthen cross-functional partnerships, and deepen resilience to emerging challenges.
What You Will Do
- Champion security by integrating secure engineering solutions.
- Lead the comprehensive vision for cyber, fraud, and physical security.
- Drive automation to reduce manual tasks and enhance protection.
- Manage executive-level stakeholders and build cross-functional trust.
- Architect zero-trust solutions and embed security in development workflows.
- Oversee fraud prevention using machine learning and real-time analysis.
- Lead physical security programs ensuring employee safety and event security.
- Invest in team growth and foster an innovative, diverse culture.
What You Bring
- Over 10 years leading security engineering teams.
- Strong experience in security automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
- Deep technical expertise in cloud (AWS), container (Kubernetes/EKS), and application security.
- Experience with fraud detection systems using real-time decision engines.
- Proven leadership skills and excellent communication.
- Background in payment systems security and PCI compliance.
- Experience in managing security for distributed and remote teams.
Bonus Points
- Experience in electoral politics or political technology.
- Experience with high-volume, high-visibility platforms.
- Background in payments security or e-commerce platforms.
- Open source contributions and published security research.
