Job Overview
The Junior IT Project Manager at Actalent is a part-time, remote role supporting the implementation of a data lake. The position involves planning, executing, and monitoring project activities while ensuring proper documentation, effective communication, and resource tracking.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and task lists.
- Track project deliverables and deadlines.
- Prepare project status reports and presentations.
- Facilitate meetings and record minutes.
- Support resource allocation and monitor budgets.
- Update project tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, and Trello.
- Identify risks and escalate issues to leadership.
- Adhere to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Assist with quality checks and compliance with governance standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of IT Project Manager experience. Previous experience in data lake projects and utility sectors is preferred.
Work Environment & Benefits
This fully remote, part-time role (20-30 hours per week) occasionally requires travel to Seattle, WA. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and more, subject to eligibility.
