Responsibilities

As the Governance Risk Compliance Analyst M&A, you will:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data and insights.
• Prepare and present detailed risk reports to senior management.
• Work closely with M&A, IT security, legal, and compliance teams during due diligence.
• Monitor ongoing M&A activities ensuring risks are managed and mitigated effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations (NYDFS, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA), and best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with over 5 years in IT security. You must have proven experience in managing timelines, leading security teams, and effective communication skills. Candidates must be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration and cross-functional partnerships.
