Acorns is seeking a Sourcing and Procurement Sr. Specialist to partner with internal stakeholders and manage end-to-end procurement activities. Reporting to the Director of Sourcing and Procurement, you’ll drive strategy, negotiation, vendor management, contract reviews, and proposal analysis—primarily in Software, with additional exposure to Marketing, Services, and Infrastructure. You’ll also have the opportunity to support leadership on key sourcing initiatives.

What You’ll Do At Acorns
- Build expertise in Acorns’ vendors, tools, systems, and procurement processes
- Streamline vendor onboarding/offboarding, maintain the vendor master list, and manage contract archives
- Oversee purchase requisitions, purchase orders, renewals, and termination notices to ensure timely execution
- Partner with stakeholders, Finance, and AP to align on budgets, resolve vendor/PO/invoice issues, and maximize cost efficiency
- Collaborate with GH UK to negotiate global vendor contracts and drive process improvements
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI in procurement workflows and led implementation efforts
- Create and maintain contract summaries, vendor scorecards, renewal reports, and risk committee reporting
- Serve as an administrator for procurement and contract systems (workflows, approvals, user permissions, updates)
- Coordinate vendor risk assessments, QBRs, and other critical vendor management activities
- Identify and address gaps in procurement policies, processes, and systems to drive continuous improvement
What You Will Bring To Acorns
- BS/BA in Business or related field
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, finance, consulting, technology, business development, partnerships, sales, or a related field
- Strong vendor management skills, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement policy execution
- Ability to quickly build trust and collaborate across internal teams and external partners
- Project management expertise with a focus on resource planning, timelines, and delivering measurable results
- Solid understanding of commercial contracts, legal terminology, accounting principles, cost analysis, ROI, and Total Cost of Ownership
- Skilled at balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Excel
- Workday and/or Zip experience is considered a plus
- Problem-solver with solution-oriented attitude

Compensation Information
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $101,700 and $106,500/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, equity grants, and discretionary cash bonus awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
