Role Overview

This posting is for two distinct roles under the title of Engineering Manager - Growth & AI. One manager will drive our Growth engineering efforts focused on improving customer acquisition funnels through A/B testing and conversion optimization, while the other will lead our AI team in integrating innovative technologies such as AWS Bedrock, RAG, and Agentic architectures to redefine financial wellness via products like the "Ask Acorns" chatbot.

What You Will Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop high-impact engineering teams.
• Partner with Product and Design to ideate and implement strategies.
• Enhance registration funnels with A/B testing for growth role.
• Guide deployment of innovative AI features for the AI role.
• Drive accountability and improve team processes and communication.

What You Will Bring

For the Growth role: proven track record in growth engineering, hands-on A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization. For the AI role: deep familiarity with AI/ML concepts including LLMs, AWS Bedrock, and RAG. For both roles, you should have 6+ years of relevant engineering experience, 2+ years in software team management, and a passion for driving innovative financial solutions.

Benefits and Compensation

Competitive salary between $210,000 and $225,000/year with stock options, comprehensive benefits, flexible work location (remote-first with optional Irvine, CA office), 401(k) matching, career development programs, and more.
