Job Description

Junior Data Developer at Acoem France

Context

Within the Acoem IT team, you will actively participate in data-related topics, at the core of the group's transformation. Our objective is to consolidate and centralize data to accelerate our decision-making capabilities and leverage the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence. You will be involved in numerous data analysis/transformation projects across all company domains and will be mentored by an experienced Data Architect.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Limonest (69)

Compensation: 35k-40k annually, depending on profile

Missions

You will engage in various data analysis and transformation projects across all business areas, supported by a seasoned Data Architect. As a Junior Data Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the implementation of centralized databases for all group activities.
  • Creating or enhancing integration interfaces between our systems using ETL tools.
  • Exploring artificial intelligence possibilities to maximize the exploitation of strategic group data.
  • Working with existing ERP databases.

In a dynamic environment, your missions will evolve and adapt to support our business growth.

Profile Required

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (Bac+3 to Bac+5).

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and databases.
  • Programming fundamentals: ability to write scripts, debug, create custom routines, or understand console errors (Java, Appscript, Python).
  • ETL / Data Integration logic: initial experience (academic, personal projects, or internships) with an ETL tool (e.g., Talend/Qlik).
  • Version control tools (Git).
  • BI and visualization tools: knowledge is a plus (Tableau, Looker Studio).
  • Strong interest in data development and manipulation.
  • English: Written and oral proficiency is essential for international context.
