What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with assigned Divisions to understand and meet staffing needs.
- Support hiring managers by scheduling interviews for qualified candidates.
- Conduct thorough reference and background checks for applicants.
- Process, track, and maintain all onboarding paperwork for assigned Divisions.
- Provide HR guidance and consultation to Division management.
- Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements impacting employee management.
- Assist the HR Director with employee relations issues and investigations.
- Maintain accurate employment records (hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, promotions) using HRIS and filing systems.
- Participate in special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, including employee relations, investigations, and onboarding.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.
- High School Graduate/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- High productivity, meeting deadlines with accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance.
