Solution Engineer Trainee

AccuKnox is seeking a motivated and eager Solution Engineer Trainee to join our dynamic team. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pre-sales engineering, product marketing, and security research within the cutting-edge field of cybersecurity.

During Training Period: Duties and Responsibilities:

• AccuKnox Pre-Sales Engineering Support: Provide technical support to customers and partners by assisting with product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• AccuKnox Product Marketing Support: Contribute to product marketing efforts by supporting the creation of data sheets, white papers, blogs, videos, and other collateral.
• Security Research: Develop a strong understanding of industry compliance and governance standards such as PCI, SOC2, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. Learn about security frameworks including MITRE, CIS, OWASP, and NIST STIGs, as well as current and emerging threats and attack vectors like Ransomware, Bitcoin, and Zero-day exploits.
• AccuKnox Product Testing: Act as the "voice of the customer" by participating in AccuKnox product testing to ensure quality and usability.

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications:

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Openstack, and Linux.
• CyberSecurity Products: Knowledge of Aqua, Tigera, Twistlock, Sysdig, Trivy, Clair, Snyk, Anchore, WireShark.
• Development Tools/Languages: Experience with Python, Golang, Java, SQL, NoSQL, NumPy.
• Certifications: CKA, CKAD, CKS are a plus.
• Compliance, Governance Frameworks: Understanding of governance standards (PCI-DSS, SOC2, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and security frameworks (MITRE, CIS, OWASP, NIST, STIGs).
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Word, Excel, PPT, and Zoom.

• Open Source Contributions.
• Experience operating in a 24x7 SOC.
• Writing insightful blogs and white papers.
• Presentations at industry conferences like RSA, BlackHat, DefCon, BSides, etc.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible, Vault.

Qualifications:

• BE, B.Tech, MCA, MSC in Computer Science.
• Knowledge of Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
• MBA is preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
