Job Description for Finance Manager

The Finance Manager at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach is responsible for various administrative, customer service, financial, and operational duties. This role involves managing accounting, costing, storekeeping, purchasing, and audit staff while ensuring efficient data storage for quick retrieval.

• Manage debtors, creditors, bankers, and internal/external customers.
• Coordinate with the Materials Manager to build extensive databases for service and material options.
• Oversee working capital, cash flow management and purchase process efficiency.
• Review daily revenue reports including room, outlet, telephone revenues, and ledgers.
• Prepare P&L reports, budgets, and monthly general manager’s executive committee reports.
• Monitor stock take for operating equipment and other stocks on a periodic basis.
• Ensure all assets are insured and risk areas are covered.
• Attend monthly financial and management meetings.
