Job Purpose
The Cluster Sales Manager is responsible for proactively generating new business, managing existing key accounts, and working with the sales team to exceed monthly revenue goals. The role involves preparing and executing action plans, negotiating rates and contracts, and qualifying customers.
Duties & Functions
- Maximize current hotel key accounts for revenue growth.
- Target high revenue potential sales calls.
- Book groups of 10-25 rooms on peak nights.
- Secure 50-75 new key prospects weekly.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Analyze market segments and customer data.
- Negotiate prices and execute contracts.
- Coordinate with hotel departments for superior guest service.
- Prepare periodic sales reports.
- Participate in trade shows and promotional events.
Additional Responsibilities
Communicate clearly with teams, maintain product knowledge, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies. Support colleagues during emergency situations and maintain a neat work environment.
Supportive Functions & Other Duties
Attend necessary meetings, participate in community events, and use software tools like Microsoft Office, Opera, and ADP. Demonstrate leadership, adhere to company policies, and be adaptable to varying work schedules.
Safety & Grooming Requirements
Follow PPE guidelines, lift heavy packages safely, and maintain a neat and professional appearance as per uniform guidelines.
