Job Description
The role of Security Operations Center Architect focuses exclusively on building and refining the enterprise's cyber defense. You will translate strategic security visions into operational capabilities and design a resilient, intelligent, and efficient Security Operations Center (SOC) within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Architect a cloud-native SOC aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Translate business risks into actionable detection logic using KQL.
- Design cost-efficient log ingestion and retention strategies in Azure.
- Engineer integrations between Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR suite.
- Automate incident response with advanced SOAR playbooks.
- Define workflows, monitor KPIs, and mentor Tier 3 analysts.
Qualifications
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Log Analytics, and Defender XDR.
- Advanced proficiency in Kusto Query Language.
- Strong background in SOAR automation using Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate.
- Proven experience in designing SOC architectures and MSSP models.
- Solid understanding of network and system security for Windows/Linux environments.
- 5+ years in Cyber Security, SOC, Incident Response, or Security Engineering.
