Job Overview

The Risk and Governance Specialist ensures operational integrity by overseeing the execution of cross-functional governance, compliance protocols, and incident response across Accenture programs. This role is the control point for policy adherence, security incident remediation, and root cause follow-through to safeguard the delivery framework and mitigate systemic risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee PII and Security incident tracking, analysis, and mitigation
• Manage remediation tracking for root cause analysis and audit findings
• Coordinate mishandled case protocols and urgent escalation workflows
• Oversee the complete security incident response process
• Collaborate with Portfolio Leads and QTPX to embed governance controls
• Maintain audit logs and compliance documentation
• Serve as the point of contact for program-wide delivery risks
• Partner with the Program Enablement Lead to align strategic improvements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of governance mechanisms

Role Requirements & Qualifications

The individual should have a minimum of 2 years in an operations delivery environment and at least 1 year in program or project management. Though the role is remote, candidates must reside within 100 miles of one of Accenture's posted office locations.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges vary by location. For example, in California the range is $63,800 to $154,800. Detailed compensation and benefits information is provided by Accenture based on location, role, skills, and experience.
