About Supply Chain Consultant

Your Role

As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will use your real-life experience and analytical skills to optimize clients' supply chains. You will be expected to diagnose procurement, planning, transportation, or logistics problems, and solve these issues with data-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve procurement, planning, transportation, or logistics problems.
  • Persuade senior managers at both Accenture and client organizations.
  • Decide on appropriate methods and procedures to complete projects.
  • Lead and manage small-to-medium teams, or work independently.
  • Ensure procurement operations align with overall client objectives.
  • Leverage digital technology to improve cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct workshops to refine procurement and client processes.
  • Travel frequently for client visits Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in planning & fulfillment, logistics, or sourcing & procurement.
  • At least 2 years of experience in process design and integrated services.
  • Minimum 2 years working as a consultant in Professional Services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Bonus Points

  • Strong data and analytics skills.
  • Ability to identify and communicate new value in supply chain and procurement.
  • Experience running strategic cost takeout projects.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools such as Ariba, Coupa, and iValua.
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and in person.
