Job Description
Project Specialist Role at Accenture
The Project Specialist is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex network infrastructure programs across global markets. This role includes multivendor execution, cross-functional alignment, and technical validation for services such as Dark Fiber, Leased Wave, Bulk Fiber, IP Transit, and Collocation.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management: Lead projects from planning through customer acceptance while managing scope, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary contact, translate business priorities into execution requirements, and present program plans.
Vendor & Partner Oversight: Oversee vendor performance, ensure compliance with SLAs, and escalate issues when necessary.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Drive alignment between internal teams for design readiness, deployment, testing, and turn‑up.
Risk & Issue Management: Own RAID management, identify risks early, and implement mitigation plans.
Governance & Reporting: Lead governance touchpoints and produce data-driven reports.
Technical Oversight & Acceptance: Manage technical delivery activities and final acceptance with vendors.
Project Closure & Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation and complete handoffs with satisfaction surveys.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing network/fiber infrastructure projects. Preferred experience includes managing technical teams in telecommunications provisioning, service delivery, or network deployment and hands-on exposure to global carrier environments in North America and LATAM.
