Payment Operations Associate at Accenture
Our team at Accenture supports a leading client in the technology sector, partnering closely with their Social Responsibility department. This role advances community-focused initiatives by managing operational processes that facilitate the distribution of cash grants to nonprofit organizations. Through this work, the Payment Operations Associate plays a vital role in enabling the client’s broader mission to drive positive social impact at scale.
Responsibilities
- Act as an interface between the client company and leading global academic institutions to ensure timely processing of award payments.
- Assist in reviewing and executing a wide range of agreements and contracts.
- Identify and flag any ambiguous, omitted, or potentially inaccurate statements in contract drafts.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of contract terms and conditions to identify potential liabilities, compliance issues, or unfavorable clauses as per client directive.
- Ensure contracts comply with any applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to drive process efficiency.
- Deliver assigned tasks within service level agreements (SLAs) and conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) for discrepancies.
- Collaborate globally to achieve targets on throughput and accuracy.
- Partner with the client to maintain up-to-date documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Address questions from internal and external stakeholders on task status.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in contract and operations management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Hands-on experience with managing purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices.
- Finance/quantitative background.
- Metrics design and data visualization.
- Legal awareness or expertise.
