The Work: Mid Market Sales Account Executive

As a Mid Market Sales Account Executive in the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG), you will be a leader in our premier sales force, bringing market-leading Google Cloud solutions to clients. This strategic role involves guiding clients through significant technology transformations to unlock new possibilities. You will manage the end-to-end sales process for a fast-paced sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution shaping, and negotiation. This role requires building and managing a robust pipeline and working with cross-functional teams such as pre-sales, delivery, alliances/partners, and marketing. You will act as a trusted advisor, matching our proven solutions to client needs and helping them leverage cutting-edge technologies from Data & AI, modernization, and Generative AI to enhanced security, reimagined customer experiences, and industry-specific breakthroughs.

  • Establish relationships with clients, from C-suite executives to technical leaders, identifying business challenges aligning with our ready-to-deploy solutions.
  • Forge new client partnerships and drive high-velocity sales to expand the customer base and achieve rapid growth in the mid-market segment.
  • Deliver compelling, high-impact proposals showcasing clear business value and rapid time-to-value for our portfolio and Google Cloud services.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated Sales Engineer to rapidly validate technical fit and accelerate deal closure for streamlined solutions.
  • Orchestrate an efficient end-to-end sales process, mastering a high-speed cycle from initial discovery to a swift, successful close.
  • Maintain deep, trusted relationships across multiple client accounts and the Google Cloud ecosystem for seamless client experience across sales and delivery.

Some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships is required. Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0 to 100% depending on business and client needs.

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 8 years professional sales experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience selling complex cloud solutions and/or technology consulting services.
  • Minimum 5 years selling Google Cloud and related services with a proven track record of sourcing and successfully closing deals with an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of $500K or more.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associates degree, 6 years of work experience.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and presentation skills, with experience building and managing C-level executive relationships.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end sales cycle, including leading and coordinating cross-functional teams (e.g., pre-sales, solution, partners), from lead generation and needs analysis to contract negotiation and closure.

  • Google Cloud Professional certifications.
  • Sales experience with mid-market customers.
  • Industry or functional expertise.
