Insider Threat Program Manager at Accenture

Under the supervision of the Global Protection and Security (GP&S) Associate Director of Intelligence, the Insider Threat Program Manager will lead efforts to identify, investigate, and mitigate potential insider risks to protect Accenture’s assets, data, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft analytic assessments addressing key developments with regard to insider threat. Brief these concepts to senior leaders.
  • Conduct deep open-source research in support of investigations, leveraging a wide variety of datasets. Prepare detailed investigative summaries as appropriate and maintain rigorous case management details.
  • Develop and refine detection use cases to improve the company’s ability to detect insider risk scenarios. Serve as a subject matter expert on insider threat methodologies and contribute to cross-functional security initiatives and incident response.
  • Engage stakeholders across Accenture’s security organization as well as in information security, HR, legal, and recruiting to ensure a comprehensive and collaborative insider risk program.
  • Leverage a network of private and public sector contacts to maintain situational awareness of insider risk trends.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of insider threat awareness training.
  • Help identify, evaluate, and implement insider risk-related technology solutions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal and privacy requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work outside of business hours as needed due to critical events.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in counterintelligence and/or insider risk investigations and programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in cybersecurity, computer science, criminal justice, international relations, intelligence studies, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, insider threat analysis, law enforcement investigations, and intelligence analysis.
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends across large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of insider threat frameworks such as the NITTF Insider Threat Maturity Framework or CISA guidelines preferred.
  • Experience conducting investigations involving sensitive/confidential material preferred.
  • Insider threat-related certifications preferred, potentially including Certified Insider Threat Program Manager (CITPM) or Certified Insider Threat Analyst (CITA).
