About the Role
Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is reinventing project planning, design, management and execution. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will develop standardized cost reporting frameworks, review project scopes, validate cost data and collaborate with multiple teams using data, technology, and AI.
The Work
- Develop standardized cost reporting frameworks for base building construction costs.
- Review and validate project scope against predefined matrices.
- Create reports aligned with Client Work Breakdown Structure categories.
- Analyze developer construction costs with market intelligence.
- Review developer security costs against Client benchmarks.
- Track design changes and report cost/schedule impacts.
- Coordinate with commodity teams for accurate cost evaluations.
- Liaise with Client stakeholders and partner teams.
- Prepare high-level ROM estimates for program planning.
- Develop cost modeling tools to improve estimation processes.
Work Arrangement & Compensation
This role is primarily remote with some in-person collaboration. Salary ranges between $130,000 and $150,000 annually.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of cost management or estimating experience.
- Data center and commercial project experience.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
Bonus Points
- Proficiency in CostX, Bluebeam, Excel, and Accubid.
- Strong capabilities in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge in construction technologies including sustainability.
- Experience in estimating Electrical, Fire Alarm, Security, EPMS, Telecom, Fiber.
- On-site field experience and industrial project background.
- Ability to provide value engineering options.
