The Work

  • Identify differentiating factors concerning approach, design, and constructability during the construction lifecycle.
  • Ensure alignment between all project stakeholders.
  • Manage overall project delivery.
  • Manage the project budget through effective scope management, schedule management, cost control, change control, cashflow forecasting, risk management, and implementation of recovery strategies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement plans.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Client’s project processes, procedures, and policies and enforce conformance.
  • Develop and maintain continuous positive relationships with the Client and their representatives.
  • Monitor the training of all project staff personnel in coordination with the client and with available programs.
  • Promote positive staff morale, professionalism, and attitude and assist to resolve potential deficiencies.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Company/Owner contract and all project correspondence and documentation.

The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred, OR an additional four (4) years of related experience.
  • 5+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience.
  • 15+ years of project management experience.
  • Minimum of two successful data center construction projects.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience on projects under design and/or construction.
  • Shown acumen for managing people.
  • Advanced certifications such as CCM, PMP, CEM, or CPMP.
  • Experience commissioning hyperscale and / or colocation data centers.
  • Flexibility to travel to work locations.
