Essential Functions
- Lead small- and mid-sized projects from initiation to completion, serving as the client's primary contact.
- Provide a sound, strategic point of view on assigned projects.
- Develop leadership skills and contribute to the growth of team members.
- Ensure meticulous management of account logistics, including schedules, budgets, talent allocation, and legal approvals.
- Proactively anticipate client and project needs, providing solutions to stay ahead.
- Keep the team informed on contextual, competitive, and business landscape developments.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key day-to-day client contacts.
- Collaborate with the Account Supervisor or Account Director to define clear objectives, assign owners, and establish timelines for key projects, then execute against these.
- Oversee the output of Associate Account Managers, managing them generously and supporting their professional growth.
- Support Account Supervisors/Account Directors on larger-scale productions, gaining valuable experience.
- Ensure all legal and network reviews are conducted at appropriate stages.
- Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail across all job facets, from proofreading communications to partnering with production for thorough internal review and approval of work.
- Independently own and manage entire small- and mid-sized projects end-to-end with minimal oversight, including managing both clients and internal teams.
- Understand creative strategy to effectively evaluate and defend creative work when necessary.
- Act as the team's expert on the client's industry, filtering news and providing insights to influence work and enhance team knowledge.
- Take responsibility for internal production processes, identifying efficiencies and navigating channels with a full understanding of how deliverables are created.
Qualifications
- Previous experience at an advertising agency is required.
- Familiarity with accounting/finance principles.
