The Work

As a Management Consulting Analyst / Project Manager, you will work on Business Transformation projects for Fortune Global 500 industry clients in sectors such as heavy machinery (construction, agriculture, cranes, industrial robots), industrial suppliers (components, electrical equipment, water treatment), and consumer goods (household appliances, tools, air conditioners).

Working in a dynamic, multinational environment with global teams, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting projects with expert process knowledge.
• Managing project organization and team.
• Gathering requirements and defining project goals.
• Managing budget, schedule, and risks.
• Supporting business and IT teams in translating business requirements into specific IT and system solutions.
• Organizing and managing project communications, workshops, and presentations for various hierarchical levels.
• Analyzing data and preparing reports.

You will leverage your experience and skills daily to drive major change in the Industrial sector, focusing on automation, AI integration, implementation of new business models, and supporting clients in maintaining leadership.

Requirements

• Higher education, minimum bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working for industrial clients in a project environment as a PMO / PM Specialist.
• Experience in major business transformation projects or SAP S/4 implementation projects is a plus.
• Perfect self-organization and self-management, with the ability to track all activities in detail.
• Ability to understand project context, gather requirements, and define goals.
• Strong skills in planning, reporting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience managing test coordination, reporting chains, updating plans, and working with senior stakeholders.
• Competence in process improvement and identifying automation opportunities.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and ability to combine low-code tools to automate end-to-end processes.
• Understanding of how to use AI as an accelerator for building automations.
• Practical knowledge of project management methodology (waterfall and/or agile and/or scrum).
• Excellent communication skills in English, German as a plus.
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence tools is welcome.
