Project Role Description
As a Scrum Master, you will act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. You will coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Your responsibilities include facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and identifying and reporting progress via appropriate metrics.
Summary
As a Scrum Master at Accenture in India, you will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and high-quality deliverables. Your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team, facilitating various Agile ceremonies, and ensuring that the team remains focused on their tasks. You will work closely with team members to identify and remove any barriers that may hinder their progress, while also tracking and reporting on the team's performance through appropriate metrics.

- Expected to be an Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Scrum and Agile practices.
- Collaborate and manage the team to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Take responsibility for team decisions, guiding the team towards effective outcomes.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key strategic and operational decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams, demonstrating leadership.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Agile best practices and methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scrum principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, and their practical application.
- Extensive experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor team members in Agile practices, fostering growth and self-organization.
- Proficient in using Agile project management tools to track progress, visualize workflow, and report on metrics effectively.
