What would you do?
As a Digital Marketing Advisory Analyst, you will be responsible for the execution of trade planning activities with relevant trade platforms. This involves supporting any required trade planning scenarios and tracking execution against set objectives. You will assist the Trade Manager in executing and maintaining trade system operations, ensuring accurate cycle planning uploads, system administration, and platform coordination. This role is crucial for enabling smooth execution of trade campaigns and maintaining data integrity across various trade platforms.
In this Marketing Operations job profile, your responsibilities will also include managing and optimizing marketing processes and systems. This encompasses tasks such as campaign execution, data analysis, and budget management, with the goal of improving marketing efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of marketing technologies, ensuring that marketing strategies are implemented smoothly and deliver measurable results. You will also implement client account plans through relationship development and opportunity pursuits, building deeper client relationships and monitoring existing services to identify opportunities that provide additional and innovative value to the client.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking candidates with strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Social Media CRM, and Trade Promotions Management. Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach. The ability to establish strong client relationships is also key.
A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the FMCG industry is required, with specific experience in Trade Marketing Operation and Planning processes and trade systems. We value strong collaborators with cross-functional working experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a drive for results. Proactiveness in seeking new ways and improvements in planning processes and systems, along with fluency in English, are also critical.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Experience in Trade CRM & planning tools (Salesforce, Anaplan, etc.). Anaplan certification is preferred.
- Experience in handling Trade marketing data.
- Proficient in Excel and Power-point.
- Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and summary presentations.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret, enhance, and optimize reporting conducted via multiple Excel spreadsheets.
- A bachelor’s degree in a business or Marketing field.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Have a good understanding of End Market business priorities, trade agenda, and trade operating model for specific EMs, while working from GBS Hub (Remote).
- Full understanding and alignment on each cycle plan objectives and activities.
- Execute trade activities through aligned trade plan and B2B platform functionalities (like Anaplan as a Trade Planning tool and Salesforce/RCS8 etc. Trade systems).
- Based on end market RTM model & platforms, manage:
- Trade coverage planning
- Cycle activity planning (Customer incentive, Field Force incentive, new brand launch activities, POSM planning, pricing changes etc.)
- Sales planning process at Customer level (if company-owned distribution model)
- Ensure timely and accurate input of campaign activities aligned with trade objectives.
- Create and manage trade activities within the system.
- Maintain and update key data sets.
- Coordinate system maintenance and upgrades, including Change Requests (CR) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Liaise with IDT and vendors to resolve system issues and ensure platform stability.
- Provide system training and support to internal users to ensure effective platform usage.
- Document and communicate system processes and updates.
- Work closely with Trade, IDT, and external vendors to ensure seamless platform operations.
- Support cross-functional teams with system-related queries and enhancements.
