The Role: AI Architect
As an AI Architect, you will lead the end-to-end technical design, development, and implementation of an agentic AI system. This system is designed to orchestrate user queries across diverse data sources. Your responsibilities include defining the comprehensive system architecture, selecting and governing AI/ML and platform technologies, and ensuring the solution is highly scalable, secure, and ready for production deployment. You will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to translate project requirements into an extensible AI architecture.
Required Experience and Skills
- 8 years of experience with AI systems and Agentic systems
- 4 years experience with AI and/or Data
- Experience designing and deploying LLM-based systems, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), tool-calling, and multi-agent patterns
- Strong understanding of modern AI architectures such as embeddings, vector search, orchestration layers, memory, and reasoning workflows
- Proven ability to evaluate models, manage prompt strategies, and design systems for traceability and reliability
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with agent frameworks
- Expertise in data engineering principles
- Familiarity with APIs/microservices
- Experience with vector databases
- Knowledge of SQL engines
- Understanding of distributed systems
- Experience with cloud services
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and principles
Nice to Have
- Experience with Model Context Protocol
- Bachelors degree
Security Clearance
Applicants must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
