About the Online English Tutor Role
Acadsoc Ltd is hiring home based online English tutors in the Philippines for full-time and part-time roles. In this role, you will conduct 1-to-1 English classes for K-12 learners from China, using provided textbooks and course materials.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ESL lessons online using provided textbooks and materials.
- Create class remarks after each completed lesson.
- Provide corrections and study tips to students.
- Troubleshoot class-related issues.
Requirements
- College students or undergraduates are accepted.
- No prior teaching experience needed.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Availability for classes from 9am to 11pm daily, including peak hours (7PM to 9PM).
- Immediate start available.
Salary and Technology Requirements
Salary is based on hourly or class rate (negotiable), paid through PayPal. Candidates must have a desktop or laptop with Windows 10 or above, an Intel Core i3 8th Gen or AMD A Series A8 (or above), at least 8GB of RAM, noise-cancelling headphones, HD webcam, wired internet with 50 mbps speeds, and a quiet, clutter-free teaching space.
