Online English Teacher at Acadsoc Ltd
Acadsoc is hiring home-based online English tutors in the Philippines, offering numerous full-time and part-time online English teaching opportunities. This role involves conducting 1-to-1 English classes, each 25 minutes long, for K-12 learners primarily from China. Tutors will work from home, adhere to their scheduled shifts, teach using provided materials, and submit class remarks after every lesson. A competitive compensation package is provided to qualified candidates, based on their overall teaching ability, lesson performance, and educational background.
We are actively seeking home-based or work-from-home candidates for both part-time and full-time positions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ESL lessons online using provided textbooks and course materials.
- Create comprehensive class remarks for each completed lesson.
- Provide constructive corrections and helpful study tips to students.
- Troubleshoot and resolve class-related technical or pedagogical problems.
Requirements
- College students or undergraduates are welcome to apply.
- NO TEACHING EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
- Possess excellent English communication skills.
- Be available for classes from 9 AM to 11 PM daily.
- Must be willing to teach during peak hours, specifically between 7 PM to 9 PM.
- Ability to start immediately is preferred.
Salary
- Competitive hourly rate / class rate (negotiable).
- Salary payments processed through PayPal.
Minimum System Requirements
- Desktop or Laptop:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or above.
- CPU: Intel Core i3 8th Gen or AMD A Series A8 or above.
- Memory: At least 8GB of RAM.
- Benchmark: Over 4000.
- Noise-cancelling headphones and an HD webcam are essential.
- A wired DSL/Broadband/Fiber Internet connection is required.
- Internet connection speed must be 50 Mbps DOWNLOAD and UPLOAD.
- Maintain a quiet, clutter-free teaching space.
