We are expanding our Analytics team with a flexible role for a Consumer Data Analyst, which is open to both Associate and Mid-level candidates. The final designation and compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, capabilities, and interview performance.

This is a high-ownership, fast-paced opportunity for an individual who can quickly transform data into actionable business decisions. You will work extensively with 1P and Media data, generating insights that directly influence client strategy. We are looking for candidates with 1 to 4 years of analytics experience, preferably in an agency or startup environment, who possess a keen business mind and a strong focus on Media Analytics.

Work Schedule

This is a 100% remote position with mandatory core hours designed to support our global client teams:

  • EST: 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • IST: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM

While these core hours are mandatory, flexibility in structuring your work within these times is provided.

What You Will Do

  • 1P & Media Analytics: Take ownership of analyzing 1P data (CRM, transactional, behavioral, demographic) alongside Media data to construct a comprehensive view of consumer behavior.
  • Stakeholder & Client Communication: Articulate complex analytical findings into clear, strategic narratives for both internal teams and client-facing presentations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage closely with Paid Media, Retail Media, BI, and Dashboard teams to develop integrated solutions and ensure data consistency across departments.
  • BI & Dashboarding: Collaborate with BI teams to build and maintain client solutions, quickly onboarding onto Thoughtspot and various client-specific BI tools.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Create impactful MS PowerPoint presentations that move beyond reporting 'what happened' to explaining 'why it matters' and recommending 'what to do next'.
  • Data Engineering: Write and optimize SQL and Snowflake queries to efficiently extract, join, and transform extensive datasets.
  • Proactive Engagement: Identify and communicate trends and anomalies to stakeholders proactively, ensuring clarity and candor in all communications.
  • AI Acceleration: Utilize Generative AI tools to automate routine tasks and enhance the depth and efficiency of analytical outputs.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative science are strongly preferred.
  • 1 to 4 years of analytics experience, ideally 2 to 3 years in an agency or startup setting.
  • Strong practical knowledge of media spends, GA4, and performance marketing metrics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake for querying and transforming large datasets.
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills, with meticulous attention to detail in both analysis and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot, deliver results, and bring proactive recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen: capability to link data insights to marketing strategy and client objectives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, critical for a global role.
  • Familiarity with or eagerness to explore Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to boost productivity.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in Retail Analytics, CRM-based analytics, loyalty programs, or Media Mix Modelling.
  • Exposure to Paid Media data, Retail Media metrics (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Instacart), GA4, or Media Mix Modelling concepts.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Thoughtspot, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
