Commercial Insurance Sales Producer
This is a full-time, direct placement role at Brooks Todd & McNeil Insurance. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join our growing team.
As a leading independent insurance agency, we offer access to over 20 direct markets and multiple lead sources, providing a strong foundation for success. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a minimum of five years of experience in commercial insurance sales, proven success in a high-pressure environment, and a talent for building long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities via networking, referrals, cold calling, and lead follow-ups.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and tailor insurance solutions.
- Work with carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure optimal coverage.
- Conduct risk assessments and present comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, industry trends, and underwriting guidelines.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals and performance targets.
- Provide exceptional client service on policy changes, renewals, and inquiries.
- Collaborate with account managers, underwriters, and support staff for seamless policy servicing.
- Attend industry events and conferences to expand market presence.

Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in commercial insurance sales.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and professional.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and insurance rating platforms is a plus.
