The Enterprise Account Manager is a critical role at Absorb Software. We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated experience working with large, complex organizations, having built strategic account plans and successfully closed meaningful land and expand opportunities with those accounts. Your past experiences, advice, and sales acumen will have a direct impact on Absorb’s mission.

We’re seeking an individual with deep experience who can quickly build relationships and identify growth opportunities within our current customer base. You will then communicate internally what you need to execute on those plans to see significant expansion within our most strategic customers. This role is supported by all levels and sectors of Absorb Software, allowing you to interface with teams and executives across all business units to ensure your and our customers' success. What You’ll Do

  • Build trust and meaningful relationships with key decision-makers across Absorb’s highest-value customers, establishing Absorb Software as a long-term strategic partner.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that uncover new growth opportunities and drive consistent upsell and cross-sell results.
  • Partner closely with internal teams, including Leadership, Solutions Engineering, and Account Development, to move expansion opportunities from early discovery through closed-won.
  • Manage your pipeline with discipline and accuracy, taking timely actions to advance deals and maintain strong forecast health.
  • Collaborate with Support, Product, and Technology teams to become a subject matter expert in Absorb LMS and the broader learning technology space.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and present pricing options that align with customer goals while supporting Absorb’s ongoing revenue growth.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Customer Success to identify potential risks, address challenges early, and protect revenue through proactive churn mitigation.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation using our customer and prospect engagement tools to support visibility, forecasting, and team collaboration.
  • Stay informed on market and competitor trends and share insights that help refine strategy and strengthen Absorb Software’s position in the learning management landscape.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in technology sales and enterprise client management, leading full-cycle account ownership from retention and optimization to strategic expansion for large global organizations.
  • Experience managing and closing $100k+ deals.
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to senior leaders within client organizations.
  • Very strong business communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working with a global client base.
  • Ability to travel for business when required.
  • Strong internal team player.

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree – business undergraduate degree or MBA.
