This Front-End & Tagging Solutions Engineer role is part of the Customer Insights & Hyperpersonalization grid. The department focuses on making the best offers at the right time, through the most suitable touchpoint and with the best tone of voice by utilizing the power of data & (advanced) analytics. We aim to be truly personal and relevant at scale for the benefit of all our customers. As a Front-End & Tagging Solutions Engineer, you contribute to this vision together with team Moneyball. You will stay up-to-date on the latest developments and mentor team members in becoming experts in the front-end field. Your job is to help optimize and improve our front-end components to maximize our stack's potential. Employees enjoy freedom to grow and experiment. Your Job

As the Front-End & Tagging Solutions Engineer, you will combine working as an IT Engineer in a team with your front-ender responsibilities. Most of the time, you will work on refining, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and realizing good quality, future-proof IT solutions. This includes:

  • Educating yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and latest innovations.
  • Mentoring your team members on technical craftsmanship, especially for front-end development.
  • Actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by joining triangles, circles, communities, and events.
  • Working in a DevOps environment and advocating Agile and CI/CD processes.
  • Coaching your team on a people level.
  • Establishing and taking ownership of our own domain and hosting.
  • Building a front-end pipeline.
  • Increasing Javascript, JSON, and CSS code quality.
  • Further futureproofing and IT hardening of our tag management system and DEQ.

Do you think you are a fit? Check your profile:

  • Proven track record and proficiency in IT development (Javascript, JSON, HTML & Webcomponents).
  • A hero in SaaS technologies (preferably Tealium IQ, AudienceStream, and Qualtrics).
  • Ability to back up IT development seniority regarding Automation and CI/CD through certifications like ITIL, DASA DevOps, etc.
  • Expertise, the go-to person or guru, when it comes to DevOps and Agile.
  • A track record and hands-on experience in the delivery of our technologies.
  • Comfortable coaching people and possess good people skills.
  • Experienced in setting up Front-End pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Understand and act upon the Scrum Values (openness, courage, commitment, respect, and focus).
