Support Coordinator
The Role
Remote location, however, some travel may be required to attend team meetings.
Employment: Permanent Full-time, 38 hours per week.
Remuneration: $44.58 per hour + super + NFP salary packaging.
As a Support Coordinator, you will be committed to ensuring that people’s individualised support requirements are fulfilled, with a strong focus on seeing people move towards personal goals. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a flexible and constantly changing environment where time management and attention to detail are key. You will need the initiative to work and solve problems unsupervised, with a strong focus on reaching set goals and targets.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Supporting NDIS eligible participants with the management of their NDIS plan and budget.
- Assisting a team of Case Coordinators and other Support Managers to plan, implement and evaluate a range of support services which meet participants’ outcomes.
- Operating within a billable hours framework ensuring strict compliance with all reporting and auditing requirements.
- Taking the initiative to work and solve problems unsupervised, with a strong focus on reaching set goals and targets.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated minimum 1 year experience in Support coordination.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to liaise effectively with participants, customers, community groups, employees, external agencies, government departments and other stakeholders.
- Valid Working With Children Check for paid employment (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of and commitment to child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirements.
- Valid NSW Driver Licence (minimum P2).
