About the Role

As a Digital Solution Architect, you will serve as a technology expert with a focus on both functional and non-functional requirements, designing software platforms, applications, and solutions for the process industries. You will support sales and technical proposals, driving digital transformation in energy industries including oil & gas, chemicals, refining, power, water, pharmaceuticals, and new energies.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include leading system architecture design, conducting VOC workshops, developing digital roadmaps, and integrating ABB digital and automation portfolios with third-party offerings. You will collaborate with sales, business development, operations, and R&D teams to deliver user-friendly, customer-focused software solutions.

  • Lead architecture design and digital solution workshops.
  • Define technical proposals and cost estimates for digital opportunities.
  • Support sales and technical consultations for customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement through customer feedback.

Qualifications

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Industrial Automation, with 10+ years of industrial software experience. Expertise in AI based industrial software, digital OT/ET/IT ecosystems, and technologies such as .NET, SQL Server, and C/C++ is essential. Fluency in Mandarin and English along with strong influencing and presentation skills are required.
