About the Role

At ABB, we help industries outrun - leaner and cleaner. As a Senior Field Service Engineer Drives, you will be the key on-site contact ensuring that frequency converters (drives) perform at their best. You will handle commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance with independence and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and commission frequency converters (drives).
• Perform complex troubleshooting and fault analysis.
• Implement digital services such as remote monitoring and predictive maintenance.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and propose optimizations.
• Provide technical advice to improve client reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate and lead on-site colleagues and subcontractors.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support the sales team.

Your Background

A technical education at MBO+ or HBO level in electromechanics, energy technology, or industrial automation, combined with extensive experience in an industrial or technical service role. Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills with proficiency in Dutch and English are essential.
