About the Sales Specialist Role at ABB

At ABB, we help industries outrun - leaner and cleaner. As a global market leader, progress is an expectation for you, your team, and the world. This role as a Sales Specialist focuses on ABB Oy's Electrification business in the Smart Buildings and Smart Power divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop customer relationships to achieve sales targets.
  • Gather and analyze market data, customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Guide customers in identifying ABB solutions to solve their challenges.
  • Identify customer needs and tailor ABB’s solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with teams handling panel construction and OEM accounts.

Qualifications

A relevant higher education degree (polytechnic level or above) in engineering or business is required along with at least 2 years of successful B2B sales experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive problem solving, autonomy with teamwork, proficiency in Finnish and English, valid driving license, and readiness to travel within Finland (50-80 days annually) are essential. Familiarity with Windows, MS Office, SAP, and SalesForce.com is a plus, as is knowledge of low voltage distribution solutions and products.
