Role & Responsibilities

This role is for the sale of ABB’s cutting-edge robots in Germany, focusing on mid-sized companies and large global key accounts. Reporting to the Sales Manager Consumer Industries, you will:

  • Drive sales volume and margin across the Robotics portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Prepare and manage sales plans and bids.
  • Support global key accounts at a local level in cooperation with global teams.
  • Contribute to new market opportunities and monitor market trends.
  • Coordinate sales information including leads, contracts, and orders.
  • Ensure compliance with ABB’s values of safety and integrity.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field, with several years of sales experience in robotics or industrial automation. Key qualifications include:

  • Experience managing key accounts and familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Ability to work in international, culturally diverse teams.
  • High self-initiative and independent work capability.
  • Customer-focused, structured, and action-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the DACH region.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
