Role & Responsibilities
This role is for the sale of ABB’s cutting-edge robots in Germany, focusing on mid-sized companies and large global key accounts. Reporting to the Sales Manager Consumer Industries, you will:
- Drive sales volume and margin across the Robotics portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare and manage sales plans and bids.
- Support global key accounts at a local level in cooperation with global teams.
- Contribute to new market opportunities and monitor market trends.
- Coordinate sales information including leads, contracts, and orders.
- Ensure compliance with ABB’s values of safety and integrity.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field, with several years of sales experience in robotics or industrial automation. Key qualifications include:
- Experience managing key accounts and familiarity with Salesforce.
- Ability to work in international, culturally diverse teams.
- High self-initiative and independent work capability.
- Customer-focused, structured, and action-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% within the DACH region.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
