In the role of R&D Senior Engineer, you will work on projects that drive real impact, collaborating with software, mechanical, and verification teams to develop power units for motor drives.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirement analysis and concept design
  • Implement circuits through component selection and schematic creation
  • Guide layout engineers for PCBA design
  • Perform R&D tests, debug and solve issues
  • Coordinate with suppliers to define clear design requirements
  • Engage with the sourcing team to drive component strategy
  • Consider constraints including dimension, cost, performance, reliability, EMC, and schedule

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in power electronics or related electrical engineering discipline
  • More than 2 years’ experience in motor drive, servo drive, or power conversion product design
  • Expertise in at least two of: IGBT module, protection and gate driver; Passive component design; SMPS design; EMC and RFI filter design; recognized drive product norms
  • Bonus: Experience in production, design for manufacturability, reliability testing, and PCB layout best practices
  • Lab experience with power supplies and measurement instruments
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink and Pspice
  • Fluent English for global communication and literature review
