Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Segment Sales Manager Passenger.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In the role of Market Development Manager, you will drive long-term growth by building sales pipelines and increasing market share for our propulsion systems globally. You will:
- Influence shipowners, designers, and brokers to secure lucrative deals.
- Stay updated on market trends to provide optimal solutions and incorporate client feedback.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams such as R&D, marketing, and product management.
- Lead a team of 4 to 5 Segment Sales Managers.
Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- 5+ years of experience in sales and account management in the marine industry.
- A personal network in the industry and deep knowledge of propulsion systems.
- A degree in naval architecture or marine engineering.
- The ability to increase market share and grow revenue.
- Proven team leadership and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
