Your Role And Responsibilities
The role is accountable for services in scope and the effective management of a Software and SaaS IS Category, ensuring services are defined, prioritized, funded, governed, and perform against agreed business, financial, and service outcomes across the full lifecycle, including compliance, optimization, vendor management, and software asset and license management. Acting as a senior interface across Business Areas, Global IS, Service Owners, and partners, the role drives demand management, service performance oversight, governance, and alignment to IS strategy while enabling a simplified customer experience.
This role is contributing to the Group Information Systems function, globally.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Services in scope, ensuring they are clearly defined, prioritized, funded, and governed, while overseeing end-to-end service performance through effective coordination with Service Owners, Global IS teams, partners, and suppliers against agreed scope, cost, quality, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Simplification and improvement of customer experience by clearly communicating services in business terms, managing stakeholder relationships, and acting as an escalation point to ensure service issues are addressed through the appropriate Service Owners and delivery teams.
- Overseeing risk, change, and continuous improvement across services and processes, ensuring sustainable operations and value creation in collaboration with Service Owners and delivery partners.
- Owning and leading demand management for Software and SaaS IS Category, proactively qualifying, prioritizing, and aligning demand with Global IS, Business Areas, Procurement, Sourcing, and V&A stakeholders to ensure services in scope meet business needs.
- Defining, owning, implementing, and continuously improving Software Asset and License Management governance frameworks, processes, policies, standards, KPIs, and ensuring performance transparency, compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Defining, maintaining, and communicating Software and SaaS IS Category strategy and midterm outlook, ensuring alignment with IS strategy, business priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
- Budget planning, forecasting, and financial control for Software and SaaS IS Category, including transparency of actuals, accruals, and resource allocation.
- Leading, coaching, and influencing teams and senior stakeholders, fostering collaboration, trust, and alignment to ensure successful execution of IS strategy and objectives.
Qualifications For The Role
- You are highly skilled in IT category management, Software Asset and License Management (SALM), and SaaS governance frameworks, with deep knowledge of the enterprise software and technology market.
- You have 8+ years of experience in IS/IT service management, software asset management, or IT category management, ideally working as an IS Category Manager or Software Asset Manager within a global organization.
- Highly adept in software asset management tools, SaaS management platforms, and ITSM frameworks such as ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow Software, or equivalent.
- You are passionate about stakeholder engagement and driving cross-functional collaboration across senior business and IS leaders, with a proven ability to simplify complex topics and communicate services in clear business terms.
- Proven experience in budget management, financial forecasting, and vendor/contract management within a global IS or IT procurement function.
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; ITIL certification or an equivalent service management qualification is highly desirable.
- You are at ease communicating in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
