About the Digital Solution Architect Role

The Digital Solution Architect role is part of the ABB PAEN Local Division Digital Team. In this position, you will serve as a technology expert with a strategic focus on both functional and non-functional requirements to define and deliver the architecture of software platforms, applications, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead "needs discovery" workshops and VOC collections.
  • Design digital architecture solutions fitted to customer needs and budgets.
  • Develop technical proposals integrating ABB digital, automation, and third-party offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and R&D teams throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Lead digital solution strategy and support Energy Industries' business objectives.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Automation or has relevant experience. With 10+ years in industrial software project development, you should excel in AI based industrial software (APM, APC, MOM, chemical process, VPP) and possess a strong background in digital OT, ET, and IT ecosystems.

  • Proven experience in digital solution design and sales enablement.
  • Technical presentation skills and customer influence experience.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Solid IT skills including .NET, SQL Server, C/C++.
  • Quick learner with capabilities in Generative AI and Large Language Models.
