In this role as an Automation Engineer Trainer within B&R – Machine Automation Division, based in Pune, India, you will design and deliver impactful training programs in industrial automation and robotics. Reporting to the Manager – Competency Development, you will play a key role in building technical capabilities and fostering continuous learning and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training on industrial automation systems (PLCs, Motion, robotics, HMI, Software, industrial communication protocols).
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and improve content and delivery methods.
  • Conduct skill assessments and identify training needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training with business goals.
  • Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to trainees during and after training programs.
  • Ensure training facilities and setups are maintained in good working order.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, instrumentation, mechatronics).
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or technical training.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming.
  • Familiarity with VFDs, servo systems, industrial sensors, and safety systems.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols: Modbus, CANopen, OPCUA.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in English and local language communication.
  • Passion for mentoring and technical skill development.
