Overview
Abarca Health is igniting a revolution in healthcare by redefining pharmacy benefits with smarter technology. The Cloud Operations Administrator will support Azure-based platforms and services with strong systems administration, cloud technology passion, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux virtual machines in Microsoft Azure.
- Perform routine tasks including patching, updates, backups, and configuration management.
- Monitor system performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Provision and configure Azure resources like VMs, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, and App Services.
- Automate operational and infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
- Support RBAC, identity governance, and permissions management.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Security, and Cloud Engineering teams.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience). Require 3+ years experience as a Systems Administrator and at least 1+ year with Azure or other cloud environments. Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux systems and experience with Azure services is essential. Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting is required. Knowledge of Azure AD, RBAC policies, and monitoring tools is crucial. Networking fundamentals and system hardening expertise are also necessary.
Nice to Haves
Certifications like Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect, familiarity with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, or Azure DevOps pipelines) and exposure to DevOps toolchains are a plus.
Physical & Cultural Requirements
