Overview

Join the Portfolio Management Sales & Trading team at Abacus Medicine Group as a Portfolio Analyst. In this role, you will manage and optimize our German portfolio of medicines by balancing trading risk with returns, managing insurance contracts, and making informed trading decisions.

About the Team and Company

You will be part of the German Portfolio Management team based at our headquarters in Copenhagen. The team collaborates closely with Sales, Purchase, Supply Chain, and Product Development to blend analytical insights with commercial thinking in a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage trading risk and position part of the German portfolio using pricing strategies and contract management.
  • Conduct bi-weekly pricing and ongoing portfolio management for Abacus and Originalis brands.
  • Review monthly insurance contracts and execute daily trading decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Purchase, Supply Chain, Portfolio Management, Sales, External Trading, and Product Development.
  • Support process documentation, market analysis, and ongoing portfolio projects.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in similar or adjacent positions, be proficient in Microsoft Office (with advanced Excel skills), and have a strong analytical mindset. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-driven, and effective in team collaboration.
