Role Overview

The IT Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining IT infrastructure for the North American affiliate businesses of the AB Dynamics Group (AB Dynamics inc., Dynamic Research inc, and Venshure Test Services). This role involves managing and supporting IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance, and acting as the primary escalation point for IT support issues across all three entities.

Location & Travel

This role is based at DRI in Torrance, CA, with occasional travel to Wixom, MI, to support sister companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot internal IT issues and manage security and compliance.
• Oversee software patching and asset management.
• Set up PCs, laptops, and various hardware devices.
• Manage both on-premise and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Handle support requests for business-critical systems and websites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT administration with a Microsoft 365 and Azure focus.
• Knowledge of Office 365, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with security best practices, including firewall, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
