Role Overview

The IT Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining IT infrastructure for the North American affiliate businesses of the AB Dynamics Group (AB Dynamics inc., Dynamic Research inc, and Venshure Test Services). The role involves managing and supporting IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. This role also serves as the primary escalation point for IT support issues across all three entities.

This position is based at DRI in Torrance, CA, with occasional travel to Wixom, MI, in support of sister companies.

What will you be doing?

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Troubleshoot internal IT issues and support security and compliance.
• Perform software patching and asset management.
• Set up PCs, laptops, and other hardware devices.
• Manage both on-premise and Microsoft 365 administrative tasks.
• Handle support requests and maintain high availability of business-critical systems.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in IT administration focused on Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Strong understanding of Office 365, Hyper-V, and Active Directory; Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and admin tasks.
• Experience with security practices, firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
