Job Summary

Aaratech Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. In this role, you will design and optimize enterprise-scale data solutions, build scalable cloud-based data pipelines, and support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration.
  • Build and optimize cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Develop high-performance SQL queries and data transformation processes.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and pipeline reliability.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and application teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to data architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or Cloud Data Engineering.
  • Strong experience with SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Glue, or similar technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of Apache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Any certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Data Engineer, Databricks, or Snowflake certifications are a plus.
