Position Summary

AAA United States, Inc. partners with an international pioneer in the aerospace industry based in Columbus, MS. The Tool Management Coordinator oversees the control, distribution, maintenance, and inventory of tools and equipment to support production and maintenance activities.

Essential Functions

  • Tool Room Inventory Management (35%): Inventory active tools and consumables, perform daily cart inventory, create purchase requisitions, generate shipping documents, execute Good Receipts, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Tool and Supply Control and Management (35%): Conduct daily and weekly audits, track issuance using logs/tool tags, ensure proper storage, and assist with internal audits and smart toolbox management.
  • Reporting, Records Administration, and Continuous Improvement (15%): Assist with training, maintain system tool control records, scan and store documents electronically, and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Tool Calibration (15%): Participate in monthly calibration reviews, perform daily testing on torque wrenches, log tools for calibration, manage environmental controls, and attend calibration training.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in tools, materials, or logistics management
  • Preferred SAP or database experience
  • Experience with Tool Room processes and procedures
